Melissa Corser lives in Brisbane City after having spent her life immersed in history, architecture and design.


Mel works from her studio in Brisbane and is the owner architect and interior designer of her family home. A quintessential Queenslander nesting in the Australian landscape, enveloped in all the beauty that delivers the Queensland lifestyle.



Mel’s love for timeless furniture designs, timbers and finishes was evident from an early age when Mel first began resourcing and repurposing furniture. Some 30 years on, Mel’s creativity flourished when her carefully curated home held no boundaries. Styling her own home with globally sourced antiques and when left wanting, Mel designed and produced her own hand made artisan furniture in solid oak, finished with nostalgia.



With boundless creativity, Mel paints from the heart, evoking feelings of romance and calmness, transporting the viewer into the canvas. Paintings inspired from travels, combined with Mel’s love of architecture and design, you will often see a beautifully detailed home, nested in the moody landscape, as Mel dreams of future homes to come…
