The inspiration behind this painting is the unexpected joy that comes from exploring beyond the Hobart harbour. Clear skies and a breeze that welcomed springtime. The ocean spray glowed upon our faces as we spotted an idyllic shack in the distance. A celebration of Spring after a long cold winter as the sea was cool and the breeze was warm.
