From the Tasman Trails Exhibit.
The inspiration behind this painting is the unexpected joy that comes from exploring beyond the strawberry fields trail. Clear skies and a breeze that welcomed springtime. The bees dutifully dusted the flora as we glimpsed upon the hidden cabin with curiosity. The soft grass smelt of Springtime, combination of abundant earth and cool shade as we meandered through the trees with our strawberry ice cream. A celebration of Spring after a long cold winter as the flowers demanded their space on the canvas.
