From the Tasman Trails Exhibit.
The inspiration behind this painting is the craft in the stone, proximity to sea and idyllic setting beyond imagination. The Southern Ocean breeze enveloped us as the clouds gathered. The earth smelt of Australian Coastal Springtime, on this moody day we soaked up the ocean spray and soft rain as we were standing as one with Wineglass Bay. A celebration of Spring after a long cold winter as the flowers demanded their space on the canvas.
