From the Tasman Trails Exhibit.
The inspiration behind this painting is the emersion of ocean meets land as we felt the Southern Ocean breeze wrapped around us from Bruny Island Lighthouse. The path was winding and humming with bees pollinating the flora. The smell of Australian Coastal Springtime, combination of ocean spray and soft rain as we were standing as one with the Lighthouse. A celebration of Spring after a long cold winter as the flowers demanded their space on the canvas.
